Q. How do I access databases that give me a security error?
I'm sorry to hear you are having access issues with our databases - we have heard similar reports from some students, although it is not affecting everyone. My hope is that one of these three things will resolve this:
- Try using a different browser, and see if the problem persists.
- Please try updating your Chrome browser: Click the three vertical dots at the upper-right, select Settings, then click "About Chrome" at bottom left. This should update to the latest version. Then, try clearing your cache and cookies: Again under Settings, scroll down in the middle of the page and click "Clear browsing data." Close Chrome, then reopen and try your search again.
- If you have Firefox, try clicking the three horizontal lines at the upper-right and selecting New Private Window. Does this help?
