How do I find my textbooks?

Answer

From the library website, click the Reading Lists button. Search for course prefix and number (e.g. COUN501) -- make sure All Lists is selected in the drop-down to the left of the search box. Select the reading list of the course and quarter you need (current or upcoming).

Your reading list will also be available in your online course (https://mycourses.cityu.edu) -- click Reading List in the top navigation. This should take you directly to your section reading list.

Reading lists will show you which items are available for free through the library and which need to be purchased. The list also provides special instructions on acquiring materials if there are any. Usually, you can purchase from any vendor you choose (local bookstore, web site, etc.). Students in Canada may purchase course resources through the Canadian Bookstore. If you are located outside of the U.S. and Canada, please contact your advisor to find out how to locate and access your required course materials.
